Stormtrooper, Darth Vader, R2D2, Lightsabers. Hi everyone, Star Wars the Force Awakens has finally arrived, and did not disappoint.  As is tradition, I made a movie inspired manicure. I have written the instructions in the order in which you should paint if you do the whole thing in one go.  Step 1: Paint thumbs and three nails black, two nails white, one brown and two gold. Step 2: Write Star wars on thumbs and paint half of one of the gold nails light blue. BB-8, C3PO, Chewbacca, hyperspace. Step 3: Stripes. Start by painting Chewbacca’s bandolier in silver, about 3mm pr. stripe, you can add his black boxes but I didn’t have time. Still using the silver paint the lightsaber handle. Step 4: Change to a white striper and paint the blade of the lightsaber. Continuing with the white, do the lines on the hyperspace nail, find the middle of the nail and paint lines going out, they don’t have to very precise.   Step 5: Using a large dottin...

Hi everyone, Christmas has finally arrived and that calls for Christmas nail art. I decided to do a festive and yet minimalistic look, with French candy cane nail art. Step 1: Do a red French manicure on eight of your nails and paint the other two white. Step 2: Paint white stripes over the French mani.  Step 3: Paint a red candy cane on your white nails. Step 4: Paint white stripes on your candy cane. An optional step is to outline the whole thing in black Have a Merry Christmas

Hi everyone, As most of you might know, a new James Bond movie came out. I really enjoyed the movie though I was a little disappointed with the main villain as I felt he didn’t quite live up to his reputation. Anyway, as usual I did a movie-inspired manicure. Step 1: Paint all your nails black. Step 2: Get out a white striper. Step 3: Spectre logo -  start with a big white dot, from there paint a thick line down add two lines going out as if you were painting a bat, then add the curved lines on each line. Step 4: Martini glass - paint a triangle about ½ a centimetre under the cuticle, draw a thick line down and make a soft and rounded triangle at the bottom.  Add glitter in the martini-glass and paint a white stick I was going to add a rhinestone as an olive but I couldn’t find them. Step 5: wright spectre on your one hand, and 007 on the other. Step 6: End with a topcoat. 

Hi everyone, I decided to do something a little less spooky for Halloween this year; Robin mosses inspired pumpkin nail art.   Step 1: Paint all nails gold. Step 2: Using an orange and red nail polish paint some ‘hills’. Step 3: Using a black striper brush outline the edge of the pumpkins. Step 4: Paint a stem on the pumpkins. Step 5: Decorate your pumpkins with different patterns. Have a spooky Halloween 

Hi everyone, I went to watch Pixar's Inside Out. It’s amazing, so of course a themed mani is in order. If you don’t have a lot of time, you can always do one of the designs as an accent nail. Step 1: Paint all your nails white and your thumbs black. Write Inside out on the thumbs. Step 2: Anger. Start by sponging a bit of an ombre on your nail with white, yellow, orange, and red. Paint the edges over in white, and make it flame shaped. Paint a red square, (this will become anger) add two small triangles  on top of the square for angers eyebrows. Paint the eyes with a dotting tool (or homemade dotting tool) cut of the top of the eye, so he looks angry. Paint a black square and ad teeth. Step 3: Sadness. Paint a light blue dot with a dotting tool. Under the dot, paint a light grey square, i added glitter so it looked more like the art style of the movie.  Add some dark blue hair. Hi everyone, I needed a easy design since i would be painting it on holiday in England, so i went for a classic beach manicure. Step 1: Paint all your nails except two light blue. Paint the two you left out beige and add a thin layer of gold polish on top, or if you have a sand colour polish just use that. Step 2: Paint the middle ⅓ dark blue, you can do an ombre for this instead, or just add some            blue glitter on top of the blue Step 3: Paint the bottom ⅓ of your nail beige. I added a very thin layer of gold glitter polish on top. Step 4: Get a sponge and sponge on some white paint so it looks like foam from the waves, i found that using a striper to add some random white lines helped the effect Step 5: Details: add some clouds to the sky, i wanted to keep mine simple so i only added a bird as extra. Hello everyone, I started a new school this year, which i was very excited about and quite nervous, so i decided to do back to school nail art. I had a lot of trouble with the text nails, mainly because i was impatient so my white coat wasn’t quite dry, which sort of destroyed the text , also after i applied my topcoat i got my nail stuck ups.. Step 1: Paint seven of your nails white, one yellow, one red, and one black. Wait until your nails are completely dry. Step 2: Find some tape and tape up the ruler nail and the end of the pencil nail. Then paint your nails yellow and the other pink, wait until they are dry and peel of the tape. Hi everyone, so i had bought a dress (left), a pair of bright red heels and coat. So i created a matching mani.  :)   1: Start with a base coat. 2: Paint all your nails red except one (i'm using red from OPI´s mini stars). 3: Paint the nail you left bare with a black glitter.  4: Ad black polka dots to your glitter nail. 

Hello, This year i went to Canada and New York for my holidays, so a matching manicure was in order. One hand for NY and one for Canada. All finished of with a matte top coat.

Hi everyone, A little while ago i did a dark blue french tip manicure using a dark blue from L'oreal and a couple of different glitters and a matte top coat. After a day i thought it got a bit boring, so i decided to modify my mani. Hi everyone, I have just bought a new yellow polish, so of course it needed testing. I decided to do a silhouette yellow cat nail art, that i found on the internet. It can be done with eyes but i preferred them without. I forgot to take a photo of them when i finished, so this is after a nearly a week of wear.
