The Lion King musical nail art

Hi everyone,  

On my trip to London I also went and saw The Lion King. As you can probably tell I am a bit of a musical fan. The show was amazing; the costumes, the choreography, the jokes. So, I decided to paint the poster on my thumbnail like I did with Wicked.

Step 1: Paint the whole nail yellow.

Step 2: Start by lining the lions face in black, then add the eyes, nose and mouth. 

Step 3: Paint the lion’s mane using a thicker black. Then add a little yellow, to make the stripes more prominent.

Step 4: Finish off with a top-coat.

Hi everyone, I went to Scotland in the summer holiday last year and as usual I did a country specific nail design. Step 1: Start by painting one nail red, one light blue, one dark blue and two white.  Step 2: Paint half of the light blue nail green. Then sponge on different greens, blues, and whites to add a natural feel. Step 3: Write Scotland on the dark blue nail. Step 4: Paint a blue thistle on the white nail. Step 5: Mix black and clear polish and paint the first two vertical stripes, use nail tape to make sure they are straight. Then add four black horizontal stripes and thereafter paint two white lines one vertical and one horizontal. Step 6: Now paint the Scottish cow using brown and beige. Step 7: Finish off with a top-coat. Have a lovely week.

Pink nail tape nail art

Hi everyone, I have continued to experiment with nail stickers. I started playing with nail tape as well and I think it turned out quite well. The only problem is that I can’t quite make the tape stick to my nails properly. Step 1: Paint all nails light pink, I used a Ciaté nail polish in the colour dollhouse. Step 2: Now place two pieces of pink nail tape on all nails. Personally, I think the horizontal lines worked best. Step 3: Finish off with a top-coat. I hope you have a lovely week

Star Wars: The Force Awakens nail art

Stormtrooper, Darth Vader, R2D2, Lightsabers. Hi everyone, Star Wars the Force Awakens has finally arrived, and did not disappoint.  As is tradition, I made a movie inspired manicure. I have written the instructions in the order in which you should paint if you do the whole thing in one go.  Step 1: Paint thumbs and three nails black, two nails white, one brown and two gold. Step 2: Write Star wars on thumbs and paint half of one of the gold nails light blue. BB-8, C3PO, Chewbacca, hyperspace. Step 3: Stripes. Start by painting Chewbacca’s bandolier in silver, about 3mm pr. stripe, you can add his black boxes but I didn’t have time. Still using the silver paint the lightsaber handle. Step 4: Change to a white striper and paint the blade of the lightsaber. Continuing with the white, do the lines on the hyperspace nail, find the middle of the nail and paint lines going out, they don’t have to very precise.   Step 5: Using a large dottin...
