Nautical nail art

Hi everyone,

Hope you are enjoying the good weather and just the summer in general. I have been wearing a lot of red and blue lately so I thought I would make a design incorporating those colours.

Step 1: Paint 7 of your nails shimmering white and 3 nails blue.

Step 2: Using the blue polish brush, paint one big stripe down the middle of one nail. Using the same big brush, paint 3 diagonal wavy lines on another nail, and one big circle on a third nail.

Step 3: Using a red brush add a red wavy line in the middle of the blue line. Then paint two red horizontal lines on a white nail. Using a thinner brush paint the edge of the blue circle red. Then add small spots on a forth nail.

Step 4: Using a blue liner brush paint an octopus, a sailing ship, and some small fish.

Step 5: Using a dotting tool, add white dots to two blue nails and two dots on the octopus as eyes. Then add blue dots to the nail with the red dots.

Step 6: Using a thin white brush, paint an anchor, 3 ship’s wheels, and a compass.


Step 7: Finish off with a shiny top-coat.

Hi everyone, I went to Scotland in the summer holiday last year and as usual I did a country specific nail design. Step 1: Start by painting one nail red, one light blue, one dark blue and two white.  Step 2: Paint half of the light blue nail green. Then sponge on different greens, blues, and whites to add a natural feel. Step 3: Write Scotland on the dark blue nail. Step 4: Paint a blue thistle on the white nail. Step 5: Mix black and clear polish and paint the first two vertical stripes, use nail tape to make sure they are straight. Then add four black horizontal stripes and thereafter paint two white lines one vertical and one horizontal. Step 6: Now paint the Scottish cow using brown and beige. Step 7: Finish off with a top-coat. Have a lovely week.

Pink nail tape nail art

Hi everyone, I have continued to experiment with nail stickers. I started playing with nail tape as well and I think it turned out quite well. The only problem is that I can’t quite make the tape stick to my nails properly. Step 1: Paint all nails light pink, I used a Ciaté nail polish in the colour dollhouse. Step 2: Now place two pieces of pink nail tape on all nails. Personally, I think the horizontal lines worked best. Step 3: Finish off with a top-coat. I hope you have a lovely week

Purple French glitter tip nail art

Hi everyone, Here is a really easy and cute mani for you. I have been rather busy in January, so i thought this would be a nice way to cheer my self up. Step 1: First paint all nails purple. Step 2: Using a pink glitter polish and a sponge, create the French tip. Step 3: Finish off with a shiny top-coat. Have a lovely week.
